Welcome to Warriors: The Wild Cats! We are an intermediate level roleplaying forum based loosely on the Warriors saga written by Erin Hunter. The four Clans still haunt the forest though their territories have expanded and changed since the days when Firestar watched over ThunderClan, Leopardstar of RiverClan, Tallstar of WindClan and Blackstar of ShadowClan. However despite these progressions the enmity between the cats of the forest has not lessened. There lies within them the same values, the same loyalties and as always - the Warrior code!
It's currently mid LEAFBARE for the Clans. Possibly the coldest, harshest and longest leafbare that any living cat can remember. The ground is covered in a plentiful supply of snow, the river practically frozen over, save for the tiniest sliver of gushing grey water down the very centre of the channel. Frost and icicles line the branches of every tree in the forest and the strong winds that usually blow across the moors have become bitter gales, often causing minor snowstorms.
The prey has burrowed deep underground already, forcing the cats to look further and further to find food for their Clanmates. The devious ShadowClan have already been hopping borders, but to what lengths will others go to survive this most treacherous weather?
Waaah!
It's mid-April already! *facepalm*
The admins have been busy causing a tiny small shuffle-up of boards and threads and whatnot but - never fear! - they're all still there, you just need to hunt for them.
(PAHAHAHA)
You'll be happy to hear there's a new skin on the way soon, I expect you're all sufficiently bored of this one now! The final touches are being put in place within the next couple of weeks so expect a change. We will also be sweeping through the forum with feather dusters and cans of polish, archiving the older threads and performing CPR on those that are fast fading.
