A beautiful full moon had just vanished from the inky indigo blue sky as a faint line of pinkish orange tinged the horizon. The entire forest was still bathed in darkness, shadows flitting from tree to tree in the shimmering light of the fading stars. It would not be long before the growing light spread its wings to cover over the world once again, but for now the creatures of the dark could rest easy. The area of boggy marshland was full to the brim of lurking, evil-looking creatures that loved to dwell in the shadows of the day and the black depths of the night. It was the perfect place for such animals, and held the perfect name for such a dark soulless place - ShadowClan. Through the gathered mist of the dawn appeared four lithe shapes. They ranged through all sizes and colours but their prowling gait was one and the same, the purposeful strut of felines with power. They covered the ground slowly, taking their time to place their paws silently on the wet ground, in some places sinking hock deep into the mud but still carrying on effortlessly. Most other creatures scattered as these monsters stalked through, striking an impressive image to any who saw them. Their eyes were fixed on one point and one point alone, and they were not stopping for hell nor the devil. One cat was slightly in front of the rest, a slender tabby and white she-cat with powerful looking shoulders and an air of authority swarming her like flies to a corpse. Her orange gaze burned through the gloom like fire, two pinpricks in the darkness shining brighter than even the eyes of the other three animals who walked beside her. She carried in her mouth a scrap of dead meat, hanging limply, swaying in the light breeze that ruffled her fur and made her blink suddenly. She stopped, drawing in a deep breath and tasting, over the congealed blood of the cold ear, the familiar scents of the measly scrap of territory she called home. It wasn’t much to feed and water a growing Clan such as hers, but any attempts her predecessors may have made to expand it seemed to have been pushed back with three times the force.. literally. She sniffed in disgust at the selfish attitudes of the three other Clans and continued forwards in her steady march to camp. The cats behind her stopped and started as one with her. They were not entirely sure of their surroundings but they fed off of their leaders confidence enough to enable them to walk with their heads held high, like true ShadowClanners through and through.
The quartet reached a low wall of thorny brambles just as the first rays of light began to edge over the distant hills, leeching the darkness from the sky and turning it an even lighter pastel shade of pink. It did not bother them, they had found their destination. The three followers became ever more inquisitive, looking around themselves as the scrambled underneath the barrier with difficulty. The tabby in front was able to navigate the prickly plants much easier, having done so countless times, and emerged unscathed. Directly opposite her was a small stone den, the base of the rock embedded in the earthy soil. A gaping hole split across it, quite small by some standards, but big enough for you to know that this was the leaders den. The she-cat in the lead made a beeline for it, casually throwing her trophy inside as she pivoted on the spot, leaping gracefully to land atop a smaller rock to the side of the one she called her lair. There she sat herself primly, paws neatly aligned and her tail tucked round to cover them, her head was up and the streaked indigo and pink cloudless sky provided the perfect background to her regal pose, she truly was a spectacular creature. The cold stone she sat upon was called Shade rock, gathering place of all the cats in the Clan. The small grubby white she-cat stalked forwards to take a seat directly below, followed instantly by the larger of the two tomcats, a striking dark tabby with tufts of fur that stuck up at odd angles. They sat together, almost touching, but did not speak. Instead they too held their heads high and their bodies tense, as though expecting ridicule and attack from hostile enemies. The last of the following trio took his time to find a seat, eventually choosing to place himself at an angle to his new leader, apart from his fellows by a substantial amount but still forward enough to attract attention with his presence. This tomcat was probably rather small for his age, with a golden peltage and black markings and eyes that seemed hollow, empty, bleak. He was a very proud cat but more relaxed in this atmosphere than his 'companions', arrogance clouded his features and he held a certain posture that would make one assume he knew exactly what damage he could do with a pair of claws and teeth. So there they sat, the three new additions to ShadowClans ranks, Whisperedprose previously a kittypet, Thornsoul formerly a loner and Bleakheart, known as one of the cruellest of rogues - now part of one of the most feared fighting forces the forest has ever known. Above them, perched on her throne all high and mighty, was Risingstar. Her reputation preceded her and her personality chilled most to the bone, she was not a cat to mess with. A solid line of orange now pierced the sky, signalling the sunrise more clearly than all else, and it was with this signal that Risingstar opened her jaws to summon her faithful minions.
‘Would all cats old enough to catch their own prey immediately meet here beneath Shade rock for a Clan meeting, delay and you face the consequences’

Frostpaw stood up drowsily from where she was curled in her nest. Why is there a Clan meeting so early? she thought lazily. She parted her mouth in a huge yawn and stretched her muscles-the usual morning routine. Her eyes were clouded and partially closed, still tired from waking up. She stumbled out of the medicine cat den and tripped on a rock. Getting up quickly, Frostpaw looked around to make sure no one saw that. More awake now, she walked at a normal pace to the center of the clearing, looking up to Risingstar. What could this be about...? Frostpaw wondered with a sideways glance at three cats she didn't recognize. Now Frostpaw was really awake and wondering who those cats were. Her tail started twitching impatiently, too curious to be tired as she was before.

Hawktail lay curled up in her soft nest of the Warriors' den. The loud call of Risingstar woke her with a huge start, so huge that her head shot up and smacked the top of the den, seeing as she laid closest to the wall. She yowled in pain and stood up, pale green eyes burning like fire. "What in the name of StarClan?" she hissed. Her brown tabby body appeared at the entrance of the den and her eyes narrowed. Who were the new cats? She sighed and walked out into the clearing.
"You better have a good reason for dragging us out here, Risingstar. And where have you been?" Hawktail was murmuring to herself. She sat apart from where all the cats of the Clan would sit, never liking to have to gather with other cats. She eyeballed the four cats and summarized them up; a cold-blooded cat, a defenseless she-cat, a tom with a bad hair day, and a murderous cat. She sighed as she realized that one of them was her leader.

Jadeflight poked his head out of the warriors den before slipping over to join his mate. "Risingstar better have a good reason for this." He spat, early mornings making him a grumpy tom for the next moon.
Thornsoul narrowed his eyes and surveyed the clan cats. So these nightwalkers would be his new "clanmates". He glanced sideways at Whisperedprose, sensing her fear. The young she-cat hated change, he knew this was going to scare her senseless. Raising his head, he eyeballed the gathering cats. Some were curious. Some uncertain. Most were angry. They were judging him and his fellow outsiders, but they didn't realise he was judging them. And he was doing a much better job of it. The young she-cat, an apprentice he supposed, seemed to be the most amicable of the cats so far. She had the innocence that would not fade for many moons yet, and he hoped it would stay that way. The two cats side by side were clearly mates. The tom wasn't naturally unpleasant, he merely came across as it, Thornsoul decided, but the she-cat was..... he couldn't decide yet. Right now he needed to focus on making the right impression, or else these cats might see fit to attack him. He could take care of himself. Prose, or Whisperedprose as she was now called, was a whole other story.

Yawning widely, the maine coon apprentice heaved herself out of her nest and shook herself, flinging little bits of moss all over the den. Skypaw padded sleepily out into the early morning sun and froze, scenting strange cats in the clearing. Eyes flicking from side to side, trying to find the intruders, she cautiously walked over to Frostpaw and sat, tail flicking with unease. 'Do you know where the strange cats are?' she murmured. 'Or better yet, do you know WHO they are?'

A flash of black and white exploded from the nursery as Rainbowkit ran from the den. She spotted her mother and father and made a beeline to them. "Mommy!" she yowled as she pounced on Hawktail, making the tabby jump a fox length into the air. Rainbowkit trotted over to her father and sniffed him. She wrinkled up her nose. "You smell like blood, Daddy," she mewed. She turned back to Hawktail, who was puffed out to twice her size, and flicked her tail. "Who are those weirdos?" she asked, looking directly at the group of strange cats. Hawktail flicked her always sideways ears, "I have no idea."
Bleakheart flicked his ears at the sounds of the ShadowClan cats emerging. Most of them sounded cautious or were fuming with anger. He turned his head around to look at the two small cats who were looking about, trying to figure out what was going on. Apprentices, they were called. His abnormally large eyes glared at them, then flicked about the clearing. So, this is home now? Not exactly welcoming, he thought. He looked back up at Risingstar, his eyes asking one question.
When is this stupid thing gonna start?
OOC:: Sorry, I just needed to add some fun with Rainbowkit...

Dawnkit bounded after her sister, giggling. "Rainbowkit! Hold up!" She skidded to a halt beside her parents. "Daddy you do smell of blood!" She said in disgust before adding, "Who are they?"
Jadeflight twitched his ears to his daughters indicating they should be quiet. "We are waiting to find out."
Thornsoul followed the kits curiously. The two cats they attacked were their parents, that was for sure, so his earlier prognostic that the two were mates was correct. He glared at Risingstar, impatient for this to be over so he could speak with Whisperedprose freely.

Whisperedprose pressed closer to Thornsoul, trying to hide her fear. These cats were terrifying. Well, she mused, the kits aren't so scary. "How big is this clan?" She hissed to Thornsoul, knowing Bleakheart and Risingstar would be able to hear as well.

Rainbowkit's attention immediately went to her sibling. She crouched down and batted playfully at Dawnkit. "AWWWW!" she whined as her stinky father told them to be quiet. Inheriting Hawktail's personality, Rainbowkit flattened her ears for a heartbeat, then stuck out her little pink tongue at her father. She ran to Hawktail and sat so she was partly under Hawktail's belly. She glanced up at Risingstar with a spark in her eyes. Wonder what's going on, she mused quietly.
Hawktail grunted as Rainbowkit insisted on being in the curve of her belly. She sighed and lifted a paws so she could get in with more ease. She turned her head to Dawnkit and beckoned her with her tail. "You want to sit here, too? There's room so you don't have to sit with stinky Jadeflight." She smiled sweetly at her mate.
Bleakheart watched out of the corner of his eye as the kits scrambled around and hid under their parents. He snorted lightly; he would never have to worry about those bundles of fur, he wasn't interested in she-cats. He did not need a mate. He had only met one good cat in his life, but she was gone. No, they weren't mates, just very good friends. Bleakheart sighed, Wonder what she's doing now. He turned to look at Whisperedprose, she was almost quivering! "Pathetic; simply pathetic," he hissed, but it was loud enough for the she-cat to hear. But she was right, there were many cats, maybe not to the Clanners, but to rouges and loners who had lived their lives alone, the already gathered cats were like a swarm.

Frostpaw noticed Skypaw coming up from behind. "I really don't know who they are...must be loners or rogues or something...maybe they're joining the Clan?" She glanced at Skypaw nervously; how would the other Clan cats react? Ah well, the more the merrier...Frostpaw thought the strange, new she-cat looked frightened. The other two looked annoyed. Sensing several emotions bouncing around the clearing, Frostpaw glanced around studying everyone's reactions: some cats were glaring, others' ears were flattened, and so on...Frostpaw started kneading the ground, anxious for Risingstar to start.

Here I stand, helpless and left for dead. Close your eyes, so many days go by. Easy to find what’s wrong, harder to find what’s right. I believe in you, I can show you that I can see right through, all your empty lies. I wont stay long, in this world so wrong. Say goodbye, as we dance with the devil tonight. Don't you dare look him in the eye, as we dance with the devil tonight. Trembling, crawling across my skin. Feeling your cold dead eyes, stealing the life of mine. I believe in you, I can show you that I can see right through all your empty lies. I won't last long, in this world so wrong.
The blazing line of orange behind the proud figure of the she-cat was growing ever stronger as the group of cats assembled. The light was just hitting the tops of the trees surrounding the small clearing of ShadowClan’s main camp, giving their edges a soft glow. It was a motley cluster of cats that made their way groggily towards Shade rock, yawning off sleep, grumbling and casting dark looks at all four of the arrivals, their leader included. At that moment in time she had her eyes closed, and was slightly zoned out, which was lucky for them, as she wouldn’t have liked the shocking appearance they made. She wanted her Clan to look strong and fearsome, one to fear and obey, not a mangy gaggle of felines with bad attitudes and little respect for those in power. When she finally opened her eyes the mutinous muttering had somewhat abated but the glowering confused glances remained, earning a reproving glare in return from the regal cat herself. Risingstar was a cat with high expectations, and was also one to give out big punishments to those who didn’t meet said expectations. She noted the absentees and stored the list in the back of her mind for later use as she surveyed the cats in front of her, clearing her throat to speak.
‘Cats of the Clan. You may have noticed my recent absence. I have been away from the forest for a while on important business, and it is because of that business that we now have three new Clanmates to join our ranks’ she gestured with her striped tabby tail to the former loners, a small smile creeping over her whiskered features.
‘This is Bleakheart, Thornsoul and Whisperedprose. The latter will be joining us as an apprentice, being that she is a former kittypet and is talentless. She is also deaf. Bleakheart and Thornsoul will be Warriors from the start, but not even they know everything. For the first few moons they will accompany mentors and apprentices to the training area to learn our ways and fighting techniques. Every cat must be taught the same to be able to fight as one’ as she spoke she stared around, meeting each cats eyes before moving on to look at the next. This was a message she needed to drum into her cats.
‘On that note, we will begin a new training regime to enable us all to hone our skills together, improving and challenging ourselves to be able to reach higher standards in everything. I want you to become one with the shadows, to be able to hunt and fight with such stealth and power that nothing can stand against us. We must be able to survive! Hawktail, you don’t have an apprentice yet and I consider you to be one of the more experienced Warriors of our Clan, you will mentor Whisperedprose. Pass on all your knowledge and skills and she may one day be able to shrug off the scum ridden name of kittypet’ she bowed her head to the she-cat, knowing full well that she would not be over enthusiastic about having to mentor a kittypet.. but who would? It was then that the tabby’s orange glare found Skypaw, the oldest of the apprentices. She held her gaze steadily as she leapt down from Shade rock, flicking her tail as an order for the young cat to come forward.
‘Skypaw, Blackhole tells me you are ready for your Warrior name. Do you agree?’ It was unusual for a Clan leader to ask this question to an apprentice, as most of them were so obsessed with becoming a Warrior they would have said yes even at six moons. Risingstar, however, felt that an apprentice should be allowed to have their say in the matter. More to the point she also wanted her cats to be strong minded and able to make their own decisions, in front of the entire Clan too. Confidence is a gift given to few cats.
(OoC: Lots of talking but I didn't want to keep people waiting so long. =) Sorry about that. I'll be sending a PM round about the training issue so don't worry too much about it - any questions feel free to gimme a PM back)

Viperpaw entered camp, and was surprised to see the Clan gathered beneath Shade Rock. There were also three unknown cats sitting by Risingstar, who was now back. He narrowed his eyes but held his head and tail high, not wanting to look weak. He also carried a rat in his mouth, which had been a little bit of a challenge since it fought back. But of course, he won. He sat among the cats, and began to listen to the announcement of the three newcomers. His head snapped to look at Skypaw when Risingstar mentioned her becoming a warrior. What? he said to himself. I should be becoming a warrior first! I already passed my assessment. Damn Foxtooth for not telling Risingstar yet... He growled softly, sinking his claws into the dirt.
Eclipsesong padded out of the Warrior's Den just in time. Right when Risingstar began to speak, she sat down. There was a blank look in her eyes again. The kind of look that wolves have, and made others unsteady just to look at. Of course, she meant nothing by it, it was just her way of hiding what she was thinking from others.
She stared at her new clanmates, looking at each one, analysing. Thornsoul looked protective over the kittypet, so they had some connection. But he had some sense of right and wrong. Perhaps he was lost in which path to take. They kittypet looked scared but underneath you could see that all she wanted was to be accepted. If Risingstar allowed her to join the Clan, then she must be worth it. The last tom, who was smaller than average, obviously had no honor, just pride. But he was capable in battle, by the looks of him.
Then she turned her attention to Risingstar's new topic, which was Skypaw. Seeing her and Frostpaw made her wonder where her apprentice, Fatepaw, was. She quickly looked around and only found Viperpaw, who looked like he could claw some fur off. Not finding her apprentice, she noted to scold Fatepaw on how she had to attend the Clan meetings.

Hawktail's fur rose on several spots at the note that she was going to mentor this puny thing. "Fine," she growled, although she did like how Risingstar considered the ex-rouge to be a higher rank. She lifted her head, but the snarl never left. "I will try to pass on everything I know to her in hopes that will, some day, be free of her binds of bloodline. I will not fail you, Risingstar." Hawktail bowed her head without dropping her gaze from the she-cat she was now to mentor. She wondered if she was supposed to touch noses with her. Shrugging, Hawktail rose and made her way to the deaf cat. She kept her gaze locked firmly with her apprentice's.
Reaching Whisperedprose, Hawktail bent her head and brought the space between the cats' noses to and end. Even though her pale green eyes were burning, the touch was soft. The dark tabby made a brushing notion and pulled away. She flicked her sideways ears and glared for a moment longer before going back to her seat next to Jadeflight and her kits. Her eyes had stated one thing, and one thing alone.
You will be a strong cat when I'm done with you, whether you want to or not.
Bleakheart twitched an ear as the scene between the tabby, known as Hawktail, and Whisperedprose. He chuckled and looked over to Thornsoul. Hehehe, wonder how bad that shook him, the tom mused. Bleakheart locked eyes with Thornsoul for a moment, murderous laughter creeping into his gaze, then dropped the stare and turned back up to Risingstar as she announced about apprentices becoming warriors. He sighed and looked around the clearing, taking in all the looks of each cat.

Deep inside, Skypaw was shaking with fear. On the outside, however, she looked cool, calm and collected. Padding up to Risingstar, she noticed Viperpaw walk in and hope he would become a warrior too. They had been apprenticed at the same time and it would be unfair if one was made a warrior before the other. Looking up at her fearless leader, she answered the tabby-and-white she-cat. 'Yes, I believe I am, but that is the answer you would expect from an apprentice, so take it as you will.' The words seemed insulting but they were said with respect for both the leader, and her mentor. Please StarClan, let me keep my fur she thought.

Thornsoul narrowed his eyes as the she-cat approached Whisperedprose. Risingstar had no right to treat her differently because she was once a kittypet, that was a very long time ago. He didn't mind her being an apprentice, that was fine by him and attending training sessions meant he could keep an eye on his former apprentice, that was true also. But to judge a cat by where it came from? That was wrong, Whisperedprose was just as good a cat as any from this clan, it was her deafness that had prevented her from shedding her kittypet past earlier. He glared at Bleakheart, but he couldn't bring himself to hate the she-cat called Hawktail. She wasn't as cruel as her leader, and he felt that despite any promises she made she wouldn't harm Whisperedprose unless it was necessary.
Jadeflight curled his tail around his paws, frowning at these new cats. He hoped Hawktail realised what she had gotten herself into, this pathetic excuse for a cat would need more training than a blind hedgehog.

Whisperedprose looked at Thorn uncertainly. She had only understood part of what Risingstar was saying, but she knew that she would be mentored by the she-cat who had approached her. She looked at the apprentice speaking and followed her lip movements carefully. The apprentice was going to be made a warrior? Despite her uncertainties, Whisperedprose was excited by the thought of seeing a warrior ceremony. It sounded like it was a big deal for these clan cats.

Most of the clan had already gathered beneith the Shade Rock. Foxtooth slowly trotted into the clearing, he had had a bit of a problem in the dirt place. If you get my drift. He settled his orange furry rump onto the dusty floor and awaited his leader to continue.

The answer from Skypaw was, of course, the expected one. However the confidence with which she spoke and the certain amount of respectful carelessness she said it with indicated to Risingstar that this she-cat really did know what she was doing. This time, she would be able to keep her fur. The tabby blinked in acceptance of her words and tilted her head skywards, towards her ‘ancestors’.
‘I, Risingstar, leader of ShadowClan, call upon my Warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a Warrior in her turn. Skypaw, do you promise to uphold the Warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?' Not being one to hang around and knowing that she had even more ceremonies to perform, she didn’t wait for the apprentice to reply before continuing on with her speech. It didn’t matter in her mind anyway, if the apprentice wasn’t willing to give their life for the sake of the Clan then they weren’t much use, and would’ve been kicked out, from ShadowClan at least.
‘By the powers of StarClan I give you your Warrior name. Skypaw, from this moment you will be known as Skysong. StarClan honours your perseverance and loyalty, and we welcome you as a full Warrior of ShadowClan.' She finished speaking and lowered her muzzle, gently resting it on the Maine Coons head. Then, she turned to Viperpaw. She had sensed his frustration from the other side of the clearing. It was only fair in her mind, that the two cats who had been apprenticed and trained at the same time, and to the same standard, should become Warriors together. Her tail flicked for the second time, beckoning the youngster to come and stand before her as Skysong had done. She was getting slightly impatient with the meeting now and decided to hurry things along a little.
‘I, Risingstar, leader of ShadowClan, call upon my Warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a Warrior in his turn. Viperpaw, do you promise to uphold the Warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life? Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your Warrior name. Viperpaw, from this moment you will be known as Viperfang. StarClan acknowledges your commitment and patience, and we welcome you as a full Warrior of ShadowClan.’ Resting her head briefly on the toms head she then focused her attention on the two squirming bundles of trouble that sat beside Jadeflight and Hawktail. She considered them for a short moment, eyes narrowed, before stepping forwards to meet them.
‘Rainbowkit, Dawnkit, you are both roughly six moons old now, I think you’re old enough to become apprentices. It should get you out from underneath your parents paws at any rate. Blackhole-’ she twitched her ears and looked over at the Warrior, ‘-you’ve proven yourself able to cope with an apprentice and bring out the best in them. You did a good job with Skypaw, would you like to be a mentor to Rainbowkit? Dawnkit, I shall take you on myself. I know I already have Jaypaw but I cannot let you be apprenticed to your own parents, it wouldn’t be fair on them or you training-wise and I have the spare time..’ She almost expected to hear some kind of explosive hissy fit from whichever part of the camp her bad tempered apprentice was hidden away in, but thankfully he had chosen this particular morning to make himself scarce, which was always the way she liked it. Hopefully herself and Dawnkit would get on far better than she did with dearest Jaypaw.
‘Rainbowkit, from now on you will be known as Rainbowpaw. Train hard and you will one day be a Warrior that ShadowClan can be proud of. Dawnkit, from now on you will be known as Dawnpaw. I promise to teach you all I know, providing you co-operate.’ Her last words were not meant to scare the new apprentice, more just a warning. But it wasn’t a joke. Risingstar didn’t joke. The tabby leaned forwards and carefully touched her nose to that of her second apprentice, boy life was going to get hectic. As she re-took her seat on top of Shade rock she scanned the clearing for any latecomers, noticing Foxtooth in the background and the slight smell he’d brought in with him. She smirked cruelly.
‘I noticed, Blackhole, that your parents are no longer with us? Did they not enjoy their time with ShadowClan?’ she commented on this purely to bring other cats attention to the fact that the two elders had disappeared since she’d been gone, and wasn’t expecting a comeback of any sort. She ruffled her fur slightly, adjusting herself on the rock to make herself more comfortable.
‘I believe that is it for announcements and ceremonies. I do not intend to leave again in the near future but I would advise not to let any other cats know of my temporary absence, they may try to take advantage of it. With that, I’d like to see Bengalfur, Hawktail, Bleakheart and Thornsoul in my den after this meeting, we need to discuss the new training programme you will all be attending. I suggest some cats take themselves out and stock up the freshkill pile, Viperfang, Skysong, that can be your first Warrior task. You will still have to sit vigil tonight but until dusk, you may speak. This meeting is at an end.’ Taking an enormous leap down to the floor, the she-cat headed straight for her den and the cold meal she expected to find there. She’d been hungering for that ear for some time now and her stomach was rumbling. The four named cats would be advised to let her eat in peace before trying to disturb her, but she wasn’t about to let them know that. Call it a test of stupidity.
(OoC: MEGA POSTAGE. =D I'm really sorry I had to skip parts guys but as I'm holidaying on friday I didn't want to have to pause the whole thing halfway through. Feel free to reply to your own parts seperately. Also, Rainbowpaw's mentor may be subject to change. Anything I've forgotten, PM me quick, I wont be online after 9pm tomorrow evening! (hence the thread in Risingstar's den will have to wait until I get back - sorry!) )

Viperpaw sat still as he watched Skypaw become a warrior. Now he had become numb, and he thought and felt nothing. Not until Risingstar began to talk to him did he begin to recover. It took him a few moments to understand that he, too, was becoming a warrior. With sudden eagerness, he stood up to accept his warrior name.
Viperfang padded close to Risingstar to allow her to touch his head, which she did. Then he looked up at her and in his mind said to himself, Commitment and patience... good qualities. He then sat down next to Skysong, and nodded to her in congratulations, all his anger vanished. He listened to the rest of the ceremony, and hearing his leader suggest they go hunting as a first duty, he stood up and looked around, hoping to find Cloverpaw. Although she was still an apprentice, she was still his friend. "Cloverpaw!" he meowed loudly.

Frostpaw dashed up to Skysong once the meeting was over. "Skysong!! Congratulations!! I can't believe you're a warrior now!!" Frostpaw's eyes were shining with excitement. She didn't know and never would know what it would feel like to become a warrior, but she could feel it though Skysong.
Cloverpaw's heart started pounding when Risingstar mentioned Viperpaw. He's going to become a warrior! she said almost outloud. Pride was shining in her eyes, and she could tell Viperpaw was more relaxed now. She watched her best friend walk up to Risingstar, holding in a purr for when the Clan meeting was over. Once it ended, she ran up to Viperfang, "Congratulations Viperfang!!" she purred right when she started talking to him, not being able to hold it in much longer. She beamed at him and knew that even though he was a warrior, that wouldn't interfere with their friendship. Even though he had become a warrior before she was, Cloverpaw wasn't at all jealous; how could she be jealous of her best friend?

Hawktail's pale green eyes narrowed. Why can't I just train the darn cat and get it over with? she hissed inwardly. She had just become to get angry when her kits' names were called. Her sideways ears shot forward for a moment, and her eyes lit up with pleasure. She bent her head and liked atop her kits' heads. "Congratulations, my darlings," she purred. Her heart swelled with pride that her kit had gotten to be mentored by Risingstar. She was partly annoyed, though, since Risingstar wasn't the nicest cat. But Dawnkit- Oops, I mean Dawnpaw is a strong-willed one. I think she'll be fine, Hawktail thought. She looked at Blackhole and nodded to him. She rose to her paws, but saw the look an Risingstar's face, and sat back down as she waited.
Rainbowpaw sat up right away as Risingstar named her an apprentice. Inheriting her mother's fast change in moods, Rainbowpaw went from goofing off to being well mannered and graceful. She bowed her head to her leader and looked over at her new mentor. What did she need to do? Oh, wait, he comes to me, she corrected herself. She sighed, so many new blessings were happening to ShadowClan.
Bleakheart's eyes shot everywhere at once. As Risingstar spoke, he would glance at the cat she was peaking with. His mouth was like a D with the curve facing upward. He stared hard at Risingstar when his name was called to meet with her. He sighed, he didn't like being in a small space with any cat, let alone with Thornsoul. He shook his head back and forth a few times before sitting up. His paws were getting numb from laying in the down position for so long. He grunted and shifted his weight back and forth. He had a feeling that he would take awhile to get used to Clan life, seeing that he was already bored senseless. He scanned the camp for the fifth time, he already had it memorized. He rose up and padded after Risingstar on little paws. I need something fun to do before I die from this, he thought to himself. But he couldn't have his kind of fun yet; Risingstar said that she would give him his toys. And, boy, was he itching for some playtime.

Licking her leaders shoulder respectfully, Skysong padded back to her seat next to Frostpaw as she watched Viperpaw begin his ceremony. Watching him shed his apprenticeship and become a fully fledged warrior named Viperfang, she felt an electric buzz shooting around her body. She was a Warrior! Listening intently as Risingstar gave Viperfang and herself their first Warrior task, her heart began to race. If they stuffed up they would loose something! At the end of the ceremony/meeting, she padded up to the other new warrior and meowed 'Shall we get started?'

Dawnpaws' eyes glittered in the rising sun. Risingstar's apprentice... She bit her lip slightly, realising she would have to share training with the tom she so despised, Jaypaw. If he bugs me I hope Risingstar will let me practice fighting on him. He'll learn to leave me alone whether he likes it or not, she thought, a small sneer spreading across her face, like the sunlight on the ground. Dawn. She walked over to her sister, still smiling. "This is going to be fun. So long as that stupid kittypet keeps out of our way, and Jaypaw learns some manners." She watched her sister and chuckled slightly at the daintiness with which she now held herself.
Thornsoul watched the cats carefully, and nodded slightly to Dawnpaw and Rainbowpaw. They were interesting, definitely cats he would observe while watching Whisperedprose learn. He watched Risingstar, and decided to leave her be for now. He would find her once she had eaten, it had been a long trip back and he guessed she would be hungry. He intercepted Bleakheart as he followed Risingstar and twitched his ears in a motion that indicated he wished to speak with him, he stalked over to a corner of the clearing.
Jadeflight beamed at his kits as they were apprenticed, although he was a little frustrated that he had never had an apprentice and now both Hawktail and Blackhole had them. He smiled to his kits before heading back to the warrior den. He needed some sleep.

Bleakheart frowned at Thornsoul as he stopped him. What could this tom want with him? He growled and followed the ex-rouge to the corner of the clearing. Once he had settled himself down, the small tabby tom hissed softly, "What could you possibly want from me, brat?"
OOC:: Short, but I think I got my point out...

OOC: I know me and moony never actually did this in the rp, but we were too busy. It was done by pm.
Thorn groaned, what had he been thinking, this was a stupid idea. He was gonna kill Whisperedprose for suggesting this on the journey back. "Look Bleakheart, I hate your guts, you hate mine, whatever, but Whisperedprose thinks being in the same clan means we need to have a fresh start.I don't agree with that at all, but I do think we need to make it so we can be in the same room as one another without ripping each other apart. I can handle that, but if you can't, tell me now. Then I can yell at Whisperedprose without wondering what would have happened if I had asked, if I hadn't just done so."He hated the thought of being amiable with Bleakheart, but he also knew that they needed to learn to get along in a way that would keep the others off the backs.
