It was strange to see Skysong's long pelt covered in the disgusting matter. Amusing almost, but too unpleasant for it. Glancing at Blackhole, Viperfang stepped up to the dung after Skysong was finished. He almost regretted ever suggesting it. But he continued, stepping into the stuff gingerly at first. Then with a deep breath, he threw himself on his back and rolled around it, his legs flailing at the air. Once he was sure the fox dung covered him completely, he stood up and exhaled, as he had held his breath the whole time. He padded away from it and stood by Skysong, letting Blackhole take his turn. His pelt felt sticky and heavy, the feces dripping off almost.

Blackhole couldn't believe the look on their faces and chuckled to himself. They looked so funny and his tail twitched backwards and forewards in amusement. When Viperfang looked at him, covered in dung he grinned. "Looking lovely as always, Viper." Stepping up to the dung, he looked back at the two cats already dripping with dung. "My turn". Still grinning he lay down and rolled in the foul, but probably life saving stench. By the end, is black coat was almost entirely covered in fox dung. "Funny. You really see from a different point of view," he meowed. "Are we going or what?"

Hissing slightly, Viperfang flattened his ears in annoyance at his clanmate's comment. But he would do anything or even reply, it was just a playful comment anyway. He lashed his tail in frustration, causing dung to fly off and splatter on the ground near them. It's not like he noticed. "Yes, let's," he replied impatiently to Blackhole. He was getting tired of just standing around chatting. If they wanted to carry this out, they had to do it soon. The silver tabby looked up and saw that the sun was at last setting, the clouds purple and rimmed with gold, even in the dead of leafbare. Perhaps the darkness would help shroud their presence. Viperfang stood up from his seat and flicked his ears at Blackhole, signaling for the senior warrior to lead them on.

The setting sun glinted in the background as Skysong stood, meowing 'I'll take the rear and sweep away the tracks.' It was incredibly risky, what they were doing, but her Clan needed the food, and she would do anything for her Clan. She paused, waiting for Blackhole to take the lead on this 'rescue mission' of sorts.
[sorry, no muse]

Blackhole nodded in adknowledgement to Viperfang and Skysong. Padding past the male warrior he glanced at the path before them. If ONE person made a mistake this whole thing would blow up. He was aware of that and he knew all too well what could happen. Swishing his tail he took the head and motioned with his ears for them to follow. As he neared the boarder, the reek of windclans markings greeted him with a BANG! He flicked his tail again in annoyence. as he waited for the others to catch up.
>sorry no muse. Really bad post but gotta go. I guess one is better then none if it gets the point across xD<

Viperfang took his place in the middle, watching their flanks for any signs of anything. He had begun to get used to the fox dung stench as it clung to him like his own fur. He cherished his time still their own territory before they arrived at the WindClan border, where Blackhole had paused, presumably to let them catch up. The chilly air stung him a lot worse now that they were at the edge of the open space. He had no idea how the skinny WindClanners could bear the biting breeze all day. Or had they becoming immune to it over the countless of moons? Honestly, he didn't care. As long as he didn't live out in the moors like WindClan, he was fine. He stood besides the older warrior, waiting for his gesture to motion them to move on. Inside, he was a bit anxious. What if WindClan saw them? But on the outside, he was the cool Viperfang everybody knew, except covered in icky stuff. His amber eyes flashed a blank look, not an airheaded look, but one of arrogance. In truth, Viperfang was arrogant- just not to the extreme he painted himself as. That was just an illusion mostly for ShadowClan's enemies, but he had adapted to hold it all the time. Even now, as he stared at the challenge ahead of him, Viperfang maintained that sense of cool.

Blackhole, paused at the hill, looked down onto Windclans moors. Behind him he could feel the presence of his clan mates. The... almost reasuring presence made him only slightly better. They were getting themselves into more then they coul;d handle but he'd be damned if he backed out first. Looking back behind him he met the eyes of the other cats before nodding solemly. It was time. Slinking down the hill he kept as close as he could to the sparsely spread out brambles that covered the Windclan plains. They were across the boarder. This would soon spark trouble and he knew it. He quickly drew behind a bramble bush and waited for the others to catch up.

The cold wind was nipping at her fur, and Skysong was surprised at how cold it was. How could Windclan stand it?! It was horrible, blowing the stench of fox dung into her face, and even though she was getting used to it, it still wasn't pleasant. She padded after the other warriors and every few steps she took, she swept the ground with her long tail, erasing their path. Noticing that Blackhole had stopped up ahead, she quickly caught up to him, and meowed, 'What's up?'

Blackhole stared ahead before his brain registered that someone was talking to him. "Uhm nothing". He shook his head slightly to clear away the morbid thoughts. Glancing over his shoulder at his companions, he mewed "Lets go." Without looking back he bounded out from the bushes and into the windclan plains, wind on his heels

Thesilver tom paid little attention to the short conversation that just occurred between his two companions. His amber eyes scouted the territory before him, snapping his eyes in the direction of every little movement he saw. But every time, instead of it being a WindClan cat or patrol, it was just some plant waving from the air. He opened his mouth a little to breath in, searching for any sign of an approaching patrol. He was being overly cautious, but you never know. In situations like this, it is completely safe and reasonable to be as paranoid as Viperfang was at the moment.
Twitching his ears at the command to move forward, the tabby slunk forward, his body low on the floor and his paws silent on the dry earth. Following Blackhole, he again looked around, looking for prey.

Skysong continued onwards, eyes, ears and nose wide open for any scent of prey. The Windclan territory was utterly barren compared to her own Shadowclan one, and she felt oddly exposed on the moors. Seeing something out of the corner of her eye, she spun around to find a single, large rabbit foraging for food, and though it was thinner than most, it was big enough to feed at least three cats. The she-cat halted, tapping Viperfang on the shoulder and motioning towwards it with her tail. 'I'm going after it.' she muttered, before slinking off in a roundabout route.
Getting in behind the rabbit was the easiest part, now, she had to sneak up on it without it's exceptional hearing detecting her, and it running off. She moved forward slowly, in a Thunderclan-like hunting crouch, placing each paw down slowly and carefully as not to make any noise. Drawing herself forward, she got closer, and closer until -- BAM! The rabbit must have somehow scented her, and took off running, back towards the Shadowclan border. Flying up and giving chase, Skysong ran, keeping a steady pace so that she slowly gained on the fleeing animal. As soon as she was within a few tail-lengths of it, she threw herself forward, claws outstreched, bringing hunter and hunted crashing to the ground. After a quick struggle, she killed it with a quick bite to the neck, and with a thankful prayer to Starclan, she got up and slowly began to drag it back to her companions, stopping every few steps to erase her path. Quickly meeting up with her fellow Shadowclanners, she presented her catch with pride.

Grateful that Skysong had successfully caught something, Viperfang looked around to find something himself. It took a bit, but soon his amber eyes caught the slight movement of a mouse chewing on something. It was a dusky brown and very plump, probably a farm mouse that had ventured out of its normally safe haven. With a victorious swish of his tabby tail, the silver tom lowered himself to the ground and approached. It was an inexperienced crouch, but it would have to do. About two tail-lengths away, the mouse still did not move. Perhaps it was used to not being around predators that it had become oblivious to its surroundings. What a fool Viperfang thought, a sneer erupting on his face. But with a purposeful pounce, he landed on the mouse, catching it between his paws. Just as he lowered his jaws to kill it, the mouse managed to slip out of his paws, and began to run off, but Viperfang was ready for it. He swiftly flung out his right paw and caught it square on its back, his claws digging into its soft flesh. It let out a terrified squeal, but it was abruptly cut off by ivory fangs.
The tom proudly carried back the mouse to the patrol, holding it firmly in his mouth. The smell of blood was tempting, but he knew his duties. He held his lust tightly in control as he continued on with the patrol.

Blackhole nodded at the two successful cats adnd silently thanked Starclan. He knew that the catches weren't clean as the cats were in a different landcscape and maybe this was just Starclans way of making it harder for them to steal prey. It didn't matter to him either way. As long as the prey was catchable. Flicking his ears against the frustrating wind he gritted his teeth before scouring the plains for prey. It wasnt long before he heard the sound of a havy footed rabbit shuffling lazily. He was pretty sure though that the moment it saw him it would be off. Crouching down, stomach almost pressed to the floor he stalked the rabbit hat was almost behind a lone bramble bush.
In one fast movement he had catch up to the rabbit and was about to punce when it noticed him and picked up speed. Pushing through his speed barrier, so much so that he thought his mucsles would burst, he speed up and landed on the rabbit, swiftly killing it with a swift bite to the neck. Picking it up he padded back to the waiting cats before dropping it with their prey. "Wow" he meowed. "Its been a long time since ive chased any old prey." He grinned ruefully. "Should we continue?"

Skysong shook her head. 'I think we have enough, and we don't want to take too much prey, otherwise WindClan will know something's up.' She glanced around, making sure there was no sign of them ever being there, then motioned back towards their own territory. 'Come on, let's make the final dash home.' Picking up her rabbit, the maine coon motioned for the other two warriors to precede her.

Viperfang nodded in agreement to Skysong. She was completely right. He turned back to his own territory and looked back at Skysong for a moment. Around the body of the mouse he managed to meow, "Don't forget to erase our tracks!" Then he turned and proceeded towards their own territory, the ShadowClan dark lands. Home
[Sorry its horribly short. Dont have much time.]

Blackhole nodded in agreement. To tell truth, he was surprised at how well they had done. Picking up his kill he plodded back towards his border, glad to be away. Over the Windclan border, if they weren't lucky, THEY would be the ones to be carried back as fresh kill. Turning around he scented the air. The only scent he could smell was that of the Windclan Leader Leopardstar and although faint, she probably came here regulary. Thinking of that he noticed that the scent was getting stronger and although almost unoticable he could smell it. He was know for his sharp senses. Hissing to the others he sped up his pace, only pausing to tell them to hurry. They had two choices. They could either try and cover up their tracks and be caught red-pawed or they could leave the tracks as they were. The problem? They only had limited time. Panic racked his strong features although only for a moment.
>do you guys wanna get caught or something?? xD I could make a patrol.<

[Nah, be nice =D]
Skysong followed onbehind the two males, erasing their tracks with a sweep of her tail as they went. With the scent of Windclan high in the air, the trio sped up, almost running to the border in their haste to be gone. They reached the border without hassle, and with a quick glance behind her to make sure there was no evidence of them being there, Skysong lay down underneath one of the large pine trees in the Shadowclan territory, just out of sight of the Border.

Viperfang collapsed besides Skysong, grateful to be in his own territory again, the familiar ShadowClan scent surrounding him again, welcoming him back home. He took a deep breath. It had been his first adventure as a warrior. It had been tense, but somehow exhilarating. Now just to get the drying fox-dung off his pelt. "So," he panted, "can we please go clean ourselves?"
