ShadowClan's newest Deputy made quite an entrance. Even from High Rock, Leafstar could hear his menacing growl, telling all the cats in his way to move. Such ShadowClan-like behavior. When at last he arrived in the Deputy assigned spot, the ThunderClan leader thought that was the end of his entrance. But no, it was not. Instead, Creakingwood addressed all the leaders, claiming he would speak for his Clan. But at least he asked to join them and not just abruptly leaped onto the High Rock like he was a leader too. The tabby she-cat knew that someone had to speak for ShadowClan, and so she saw no problem with his joining them and announcing their news. She looked at the other leaders first, blinking her blank eyes. She wasn't asking for permission, she was looking to see their reactions. Although they had to let him up anyway. After a couple of heart-beats, she looked back down at the dark tom and nodded before saying formally, "You may."
She moved her right paw slightly, and there was a low-sounding crunch. She glanced down to see that she had stepped on a dark red and dried up leaf. The sounding of crunching leaves had always amused her. A strange kit-like feeling spurted inside of Leafstar, and she stepped on her name-sake again, making it look like she was just moving her paw. Her tail tip twitched slightly from the sound. Snapping out of her play-full mood, the she-cat turned her eyes back to Creakingwood, watching him ascend the High Rock and take a place among them.

Creakingwood smiled and nodded respectfully to the leader. Springing up, he landed silently on top of the rock. His eyes studied the ThunderClan leader for a moment. Seeming to only be moving, the dark cat caught the play in her eyes. Leaves? he pondered. Shifting his weight, the tom disposed of the thought and turned to face the crowd of cats. A small case of stage fright hit his, driving the air forcefully out of his lungs. It came back in a flash, showing no sign of it ever leaving. Clearing his throat, the black and white cat began to speak in a steady tone. "All is well in ShadowClan. We are well-stocked on prey and we are preparing for the elements that lie ahead. Our claws are sharp and we will take on any challenge." The last bit came out rather viciously, but it was only expected from a ShadowClanner.
Turning his head, Creakingwood bowed to the leaders, taking note that they were all females. The note added cockiness to the bow. Turning away, the deputy slithered down the rock, the cold stone brushing against his belly. He landed not-so-gracefully when his paws met a few leaves. They screamed with a loud crunch, scaring the tom enough to make his tail fluff out. His golden eyes widened, then narrowed once more. Taking his seat, the tom's tail slowly faded back to its normal size. He sat practically motionless as he waited for the gathering to be finished and called to an end.

Watching Creakingwood announce Shadowclans news, Ebonstar noted a certain, cockiness in the deputy, and realised it as being bred from the fact that he was the only male on the rock. Hmmm, what a coincidence the black leader thought as she watched him slither to the ground, then, with a quick look to the other leaders, stepped forward again. 'And with that, the Gathering is complete. Riverclan, whoever wants to stay and socialise may, but I am returning to camp.' With a flick of her tail, she leapt off High Rock and pushed her way through the crowds of cats, making her way to her camp and her warm den.
Padding through the empty forest, Ebonstar felt peaceful at last. Away from the crowds, from the noise and push of the other cats, she sighed happily as the trees whipped past. Though not a reclusive, company-shunning cat, she did value her privacy, and after a gathering, walking through her territory calmed her dow. Stopping, she looked around to see if any of her Clan had followed her home.

Forgetting everything Nightstalker lept to her feet and pelted after her leader. Maybe if she ran fast enough the Clovers wouldn't notice she had gone. seeing her leader look back she put on an extra burst of speed and took up her pace. How could you do that to me blacksharpgreyeyeslongclaw? she hissed anxiously. All the clovers will know now! Nightstalkers fur was standing on end and she scaned their surroundings for the dreaded Clovers.

Noting the wild look in her warriors eyes, Ebonstar decided to do all she could to somewhat calm Nightstalker's aversion to clovers. Sitting regally, she motioned for the other she-cat to join her. 'Nightstalker, can you tell me why the clovers are trying to get you?' Her voice was calm and understanding, the voice of a mother reassuring her kits. Ebonstar hoped that Nightstalker would trust her enough to tell her, as that would mean Nightstalker was settling into Clan life. A yellowing leaf fel gently, coming to rest on her head, and she impatiently flicked it off, waiting for the other cats answer.

Nightstalker stopped but didn't sit. She eyed her leader warily then started pacing back and forth, muttering to herself. 'If I tell her the Clovers will know, I don't need to give them more proof, but they know all ready as, if they wouldn't, they wouldn't be chasing me.but they're not, I know that. clovers are small weeds that grow every where. Exactly they grow every where, and they're after me.why would they be after me? they have roots and can't move, maybe more to the point HOW could they come after me? ahhh but they have seeds! Exactly they have seeds. and each seed ends up shooting out thousands of seeds. And each seed grows and sends out thousands of their own. billions of them and one of me. And their after me! That leaves the question of WHY their after me....... Which Ebonstar needs to know Needs or wants? could blacksharpgreyeyeslongclaw be on the Clovers side!? What would she get out of being on the Clovers side? I'm going to answer her question. NO! I am not going to answer because the Clovers will hear me. But the Clovers already know whats going on. I think the clans right... I think I am crazy. Oh well done me...... Was I just sarcastic to myself... am I TALKING to myself??? Actually I WILL tell Ebonstar, maybe she can help? help with what, I'm not insane and blacksharpgreyeyeslongclaw obviously thinks I am I can't help but think somethings switched, wow I'm dizzy. IT'S THE CLOVERS! RUN!!
Nightstalker did a complicated maneuver as she tried to run and tried to stop which caused her to end up in a lump on the soft earth. Nightstalker struggled back to her feet and shook her head. It doesn't matter blacksharpgreyeyeslongclaw I can handle it. She meowed, completely unaware that her leader had heard everything she had said. 'Lets head back to camp' Nightstalker gave her leader a tense smile and waited to see if she would take the lead.

Nodding in response, Ebonstar got up with a sigh. It seemed Nightstalker didn't trust her yet, but she was unable to change the other cats mind in an instant. The ebony she-cat vowed to do everything in her power to give Nightstalker reason to trust her. It was all she could do. Heaving herself up with a sigh, she said, 'Of course, Nightstalker.' and continued on her way back to camp with the other she-cat following.
